Start here

Click + Add Tag below each row of Q&A pairs to select and add a tag(s).

Tag Dropdown

The dropdown shows your existing tag library. Tags match exactly, so consistent naming across your Vault is important.

Row Actions Menu

The ··· menu on each row gives access to additional options including editing the Q&A pair, archiving it and reviewing change history.

Tagging an entire document in your Vault

Open the document tag panel

Locate the document in the Vault-Documents view and click the tag icon in the Actions column. The "Apply tags" tooltip confirms the correct button.

Apply tags and confirm

Enter or select the tags you want, then confirm. All Q&A pairs from this document update simultaneously — no need to tag them one by one.

Where to start with Tagging

  1. After uploading a document, use the document tag panel (step 1 above) to bulk-tag all pairs in one go

  2. For individual Q&A pairs that need more specific tags, open the pair and add them manually via pin 1

  3. Add new Tag Types and Tag Values in the Firm Profile settings view

Why Tags matter

Tags enable users to filter search and answer with to only the most relevant content, such as by Strategy. Without tags, search and answer uses your entire Vault. With tags included in your query filter, along with time period and document filters, you can scope or narrow answers to improve both accuracy and the Trust Score.
